The Finance Program provides financial and ancillary services to Bayside Health. These include Financial Accounting, Financial Services, Data and Analytics, Performance Monitoring and Reporting, Capital Expenditure and Asset Management, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Patient Revenue Services, Treasury, HRIS, Payroll & Corporate Services, Procurement, Property and Supply Chain.
Position Summary
Bayside Health commenced operation on 1 January 2026 with the merger of Alfred Health, Peninsula Health, Koo Wee Rup Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health. Bayside Health is now undertaking activities to standardise processes and systems that are used across the previous individual health services.
The human resource information systems (HRIS) is one such cluster of systems that requires integration across Bayside Health.
Located within the Success Factors Project Team, the Business Analyst will play a vital role to complete delivery of the single SAP SuccessFactors (SF) implementation and the standardisation of HRIS across Bayside Health. The role includes developing an understanding of various HRIS used across the various individual health services that now make up Bayside Health and supporting the implementation of a single HRIS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to all aspects of the project life cycle as required including the design, configuration, and implementation of SuccessFactors along with other elements forming the common platform solution to meet collective Bayside Health requirements.
- Attend workshops and focus groups, conduct deep-dive sessions and collaborate with each Care Group within Bayside Health to understand current feedback, gather requirements and translate them into effective processes and best practice system solutions that align with Bayside Health goals.
- Research, prepare and document business process maps, functional specifications, solution designs, and system configuration workbooks
- Help manage end-to-end delivery of SuccessFactors, including testing to ensure alignment with requirements and design, data migration, deployment, and post-implementation support to ensure data accuracy and overall solution integrity.
- Help ensure data integrity and process compliance with health service EBAs, policies and local regulations.
Assist with identifying, tracking and escalating any associated risks and issues, devising and executing suitable mitigation plans where needed. - Be ready to present/report on progress, escalating risks and issues along with any assistance needed in a timely fashion.
- Help manage senior management and stakeholder expectations, presenting findings and recommendations when appropriate.
- Assist in the internal change management process including stakeholder communication, engagement, training materials creation plus end user training delivery.
Collaborate with a team of business analysts, care group SMEs and other project resources to help deliver the common platform project. - Partner with third-party vendors and other Bayside Health functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality development and delivery of solutions.

About You:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- A desire to seek information across information platforms and from subject matter experts
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and develop working relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A strong understanding of the application of HR systems and best practice
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant business-related field.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry.
- Experience in a business analyst or project delivery role in public health.
- Experience of SAP SuccessFactors or other large-scale HRIS solutions
