- Permanent part-time Appointment
- 32 Hours Per Fortnight - 2 x 8 hour shifts per week
- Salary Package: $30k - $34k + Superannuation
- Located at Sandringham Hospital
About the role
Our ward clerks are integral team members and work across our two busy surgical areas, Ward G3 and Day Procedure Centre. Work days are Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays, with opportunity to cover planned and unplanned leave. Key responsiblities are the coordination of communication, working alongside the nurse-in-chare, patient services, admisisons and discharges and clerical functions.
You will have:
- The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Facilitate communication within the ward and a key role in ensuring communication reaches patients
- Personal standards of excellence and able to delivery outcomes in a timely manner
- Proficiency with iPM, and able to use common software applications
- Excellent customer service skills with patients, visitors, and other hospital personnel
- Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times
Qualification & Experience
- Good communication skills, prioritising and computer skills
