The Department

The Heart Centre is a superbly equipped facility, which conducts a full range of both invasive and non-invasive procedures. The Centre has four full time and one part time cardiac catheterisation labs and thirteen digital echo machines (across 2 campuses), including thirteen state-of-the-art 3D machines.

The Role

We are on the search for an enthusiastic and experienced Cardiac Physiologist (Grade 3) Echocardiographer to join our team on part time basis working 24 hours per week

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of cardiac technology and the results generated
• Work Independently to perform high quality work
• Obtain relevant patient information and communicate with patients effectively and professionally.
• Work collaboratively across the Cardiology department and with other medical staff
• Promote safety in the workplace at all times when working with patients and colleagues

Qualifications and Experience required

Essential

• 3 years experience in Cardiac Sonography

Desirable    

• ASAR registration
• Graduate Diploma in Echocardiography
