Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory, to inpatient and home and community based services.

Alfred Health offer extensive training opportunities in General Surgery and Specialty Surgery. We have a current 2018 Unaccredited Registrar – General Surgery position.  Our PGY4 rotations are accredited by the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS).

We provide a supportive environment where training and learning is encouraged, and consultant surgeons are available to teach and advise.

To apply for our current 2018 Unaccredited Registrar – General Surgery position, you must be a PGY4 in 2018 and hold AHPRA general registration.

Rotations will be across general surgery and cardiothoracis as an example of rotations on offer.
