  • Part-time (0.4 EFT / 32 Hours ) to August 2025

About us

Ngamai Wilam is a newly built 12-bed residential eating disorder treatment facility in Armadale, set to open in May 2025. Jointly funded by the Australian Federal Government and the Victorian Government, this specialist statewide service will be managed by Alfred Health.

The service will provide 24/7 trauma-informed, recovery-focused care for adults aged 18 and over, in a gender-inclusive, home-like therapeutic environment. With a strong focus on family and chosen supports, Ngamai Wilam is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes long-term recovery.

About the role

A the Research and Evaluation Officer, you will:

  • support the development and implementation of research and evaluation initiatives at Ngamai Wilam by conducting evidence reviews, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis.
  • contribute to research activities under the direction of senior research team members, ensuring alignment with service priorities and best-practice care.

About You

  • Approved tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline
  • Honours degree in psychology, sociology or other social science discipline.
  • Experience in a previous research role would be highly regarded.
  • Experience in research administration including managing participant databases and co-ordinating research assessments.
  • Australian working rights.
  • Current Victorian Driver’s License, Working with Children Check, and Background Check.
