We are now seeking an experienced Change Management Lead to join our dynamic HRIS team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the project and help shape our future organisational structure, particularly in relation to the upcoming Health Service merger.
The Department
The Finance Program provides financial and ancillary services to Alfred Health. These include Financial Accounting, Financial Services, Data and Analytics, Performance Monitoring and Reporting, Capital Expenditure and Asset Management, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Patient Revenue Services, Treasury, HRIS and Payroll, Procurement, Property and Supply Chain.
The Role
The Change Management Lead โ SuccessFactors, is responsible for developing and executing change strategies to ensure the smooth adoption of the new Bayside SuccessFactors (SF) common platform instance. This includes assessing change impacts, creating communication and training plans along with associated collateral, managing stakeholder engagement whilst measuring the success of the change initiatives. The role is crucial for minimizing resistance and maximizing employee proficiency with SuccessFactors and related process changes. The role will lead a team of change analysts and work closely with both our implementation partners and each of the five in-scope health services to understand, develop and deliver appropriate and training initiatives to ultimately help ensure successful project delivery and user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive change management strategy that aligns with Bayside business goals to help drive the successful adoption of SAP SuccessFactors.
- Conduct change impact and training needs analyses to assess health service readiness, and identify key user groups and stakeholders to understand the people side of the change and whatโs needed.
- Engage with and manage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including health service HR, Bayside senior leadership and project team members, to gain buy-in and manage expectations.
- Lead the creation and delivery of a master communication strategy and plan, including developing and delivering messages plus supporting materials to inform employees about the upcoming change.
- Collaborate with health service HR teams to develop and deliver training plans and materials that align with local user needs and system changes. Also, measure the effectiveness of training programs and overall change initiatives to help inform and improve the next stage of change activities.
- Identify and mitigate potential resistance, issues, and risks that may arise during the implementation process
- Lead and manage a team of change analysts to help deliver the common platform project.
- Create and maintain a progress tracker for all change management activities to ensure successful project delivery.
- Be ready to present/report on progress, escalating risks and issues along with any assistance needed in a timely fashion.
- Identify and track any associated risks and issues, devising and executing suitable mitigation plans where needed.
- Help manage senior management and stakeholder expectations, presenting findings and recommendations when appropriate.
Key Capabilities
- Proven experience as a Change Manager or Lead, managing organisational end to end change on similar large scale system delivery projects
- Have worked within a team and/or transformation program, in a complex matrix environment
- Superior workstream leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to collaborate and work in cross-functional project teams to implement a complex change program of work
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and relationships effectively
- In depth change management experience using a variety of change management methodologies
- Experience implementing changes to business processes, technologies and systems
- Hands-on experience identifying problems at an early stage and effectively solving problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
