Specialist in Cardiology (Fractional) - Advanced Heart Failure/Tx

17.5 hours per week plus Wards/On call and MBS clinic

The Department of Cardiology is seeking cardiologists to join our clinical team that provides statewide advanced heart failure (including heart transplant and mechanical circulatory support). Applicants are required to have experience in the management of advanced heart failure. Suitable applicants will also ideally have experience in one or more imaging platforms including echocardiography. The applicant will be required to participate in our Outreach Programs and some research involvement is desired.

Applicants must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. Applicants must demonstrate relevant contemporary knowledge and experience in Cardiology and meet Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Cardiology.
