Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

The Department

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Compliance Analyst to lead and drive compliance excellence in our Payroll Services team. This role is designed to strengthen our governance, reduce risk, and ensure every employee is paid accurately and on time.

The Role

Reporting to the Deputy Director Payroll Services, you will:

  • Lead the payroll compliance and governance program of work
  • Oversee auditing frameworks and payroll data integrity
  • Interpret and apply complex award and enterprise agreement conditions
  • Support Single Touch Payroll reconciliation and backpay calculations
  • Mentor a Compliance Analyst and influence compliance culture across the function

Experience and Skills Required

You are a natural problem solver and critical thinker who thrives in complex environments. You bring:

  • Extensive end-to-end payroll and compliance experienceStrong understanding of legislative and award interpretation
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for process improvement
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, and ideally, familiarity with SAP Success Factors EC/ECP/PCC and Spinifex reporting, SQL, UKG or SuccessFactors
