Bayside Health was established on 1 January 2026 following the merger of Alfred Health, Peninsula Health, Koo Wee Rup Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health. As part of this transformation, Bayside Health is undertaking a significant program of work to standardise processes and systems across the newly integrated organisation—particularly within Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
We are currently seeking a Payroll Business Analyst to play a key role in supporting the implementation of a new SAP ECP SuccessFactors solution.
About the Role
Reporting to the Payroll Lead and working as part of a dedicated project team, the Payroll Business Analyst will provide critical expertise in payroll processes and ensure these are effectively translated into system design and delivery.
This is a hands-on role that will contribute across multiple project phases, including configuration, testing, training and go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Payroll Lead, project team and implementation partner to support the delivery of SAP ECP SuccessFactors
- Provide subject matter expertise on payroll processes and ensure requirements are clearly defined and communicated
- Maintain and monitor the configuration workbook to ensure all system elements are accurate and fully integrated
- Develop and execute testing scripts for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Actively participate in testing cycles to validate system performance and business requirements
- Assist in the development of training materials and support train-the-trainer sessions
- Provide support during critical project phases, including go-live and post-implementation
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify issues and raise support tickets where required
About You
- Strong experience in payroll operations and processes
- Previous involvement in HRIS implementations, ideally SAP ECP or SuccessFactors
- Experience in SIT and UAT testing, including script development and execution
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex data and configurations
- Proactive, collaborative and solution-focused approach
