The Role
An enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer is invited to join the new Allied Health Reliever team, providing leave cover in the Peninsula and Alfred Care Group as a Grade 2 radiographer. The Grade 2 Radiographer is responsible for the conducting of diagnostic imaging examinations and producing diagnostic images in line with the accepted policies/procedures and clinical practice guidelines of Bayside Health. The Grade 2 Radiographer will work as part of the inclusive, new Allied Health Reliever team, working flexibly across the key Bayside LHSN sites (as negotiated). Opportunities exist to work collaboratively with other Allied Health professions, develop new skills and engage in a funded pilot project.
The Grade 2 Radiographer will actively take on a clinical leadership role with respect to junior staff and students.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Degree/Diploma in Medical Imaging or equivalent
- Current Victorian Radiation Use Licence
- Current AHPRA Registration
