About the Department
We are a state-wide provider of rehabilitation for patients following acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multi-trauma and amputation. Our Rehabilitation teams play an important leadership role in the provision of services to patients living with disability, and oversee the delivery of care of Alfred Health rehabilitation registered NDIS service providers.
About the Role
Applications are invited for the position of Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine (Fractional) at Alfred Health to work 17.5 hours per week.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Our preferred candidate must possess the following experience and attributes:
- Appointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice
- Fellow of the relevant college
- Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Rehabilitation Medicine
- Meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Rehabilitation Medicine
- Outstanding communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills
- Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels
- Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly collaborative relationships with others/ other teams.
