About the role

The Fundraising Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the implementation of fundraising activities as part of The Alfred Foundation’s strategy. This position focuses on providing administrative support across various fundraising channels and community programs, ensuring smooth coordination and execution of activities. This includes, helping coordinate a multi-channel approach to mass market giving, as well as a focus on community programs, co-ordinating special events and working with community groups to achieve their fundraising targets. 

About you

  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing fundraising activities and appeals is desirable but not essential
  • More importantly you have solid administration experience in a fast-paced environment  
  • You can demonstrate your ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a highly organised manner
  • You’re computer literate in Word, Excel, It’s a bonus if you have Canva or similar design program experience
  • You have a mature outlook, you’re articulate, responsible and people oriented with great communication skills
  • You have the ability to develop a sound knowledge of The Alfred philosophy, health, community services and care principles
  • You’re self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • You’re a collaborative team member with a professional and positive attitude
  • You have an ethical approach to your work and a clear understanding of issues relating to privacy and confidentiality
  • You’re flexible and willing to learn
  • You have an excellent eye for detail
  • You’re able to occasionally work out of hours including weekend work a few times a year
  • Being degree qualified in a related discipline is an advantage, but not essential
