The Role
Carer Services is funded by State and Commonwealth Governments to deliver multiple programs including phone support, in person support services, peer support, information and social activities to carers (including young carers) of people who are aged, living with dementia, have a disability or chronic illness, and/or mental illness.

The Role
The Operations Lead provides leadership to strengthen the effectiveness, quality and performance of Carer Services. This role plays a key part in:
- Driving service improvement and innovation
- Supporting robust governance, data and reporting systems
- Ensuring compliance with accreditation and funding requirements
- Enabling effective workflows, resource management and information systems
- Supporting seamless access for carers, care recipients and service providers
Working closely with the leadership team, you will help build a high‑performing, collaborative culture while contributing to strategic and operational priorities.
This role blends clinical insight with operational leadership, making it ideal for someone ready to step into a broader service‑wide leadership position.
As the Operations Lead, you’ll drive service improvement, innovation and operational excellence across Carer Services. You will:
- Strengthen quality, safety, governance and reporting
- Lead and support key improvement projects
- Oversee data, accreditation requirements and performance monitoring
- Support staff, workforce development and induction processes
- Contribute to financial management, resource planning and service optimisation
- Drive operational systems, processes and service consistency
- Work closely with the leadership team to support a positive, high‑performing culture
Qualifications required
- Tertiary qualifications in Health, Behavioural Science, Social Sciences or Welfare
- Be eligible for AHPRA membership or agreeable to provide an annual Statutory Declaration
