The Department
The Neurosurgery Department runs a busy in-patient and out-patient service, treating the full range of intracranial, spinal and peripheral nerve disorders.
The Role
The department secretary is responsible for performing effectively and efficiently a range of administration, reception and clerical duties to support and assist the day to day function Neurosurgery Department. The role is responsible for ensuring an approachable, responsive and professional service is provided to patients, carers and health professionals.
Skills
- Previous secretary or administration experience with customer service focus
- Excellent PC Skills, proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications (Office 365, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and Adobe PDF
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks
- An effective team member, contributing strongly to achieve department goals
- Outstanding inter-personal skills, experience in liaising with professionals of all levels.
