The Department

Alma Road Community Care unit (ARCC) is the residential rehabilitation facility for Alfred Mental and Addiction Health. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced medication endorsed enrolled nurse who would like to gain experience in the community and join an established and supportive team.

The Role

To be successful in this role, you will have a demonstrated understanding of the recovery model and will apply this model in practice. You will also have relevant knowledge and demonstrated skills in managing safety, mental state assessment, care planning and the capability to provide responsive direct care and evidence-based interventions to support clients participating in the program.

You will work a rotating roster over 24 hours, 7 days a week and will be required to consult, liaise and negotiate with patients, carers, family members and other professionals.
