The Department
Alfred Health Radiation Oncology (AHRO) is a unit of a comprehensive cancer service provided by Alfred Health. The department is comprised of two units, Alfred Radiation Oncology (ARO) located in the South Block at The Alfred and Gippsland Radiation Oncology (GRO), located at Latrobe Regional Hospital.
Together the two units provide the full range of radiation oncology and radiation therapy services (with the exception of paediatrics) in addition to some specialized services with both state and national significance.
The Role
Alfred Health Radiation Oncology (AHRO) are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide administrative support to the AHRO Head of Unit (HoU), Operations Manager (Ops) and Deputy Operations Manager, with a secondary role of providing administrative support to the Administration Manager and relief for the Private Secretary. Key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to; diary management, minute taking and general administrative support of AHRO. A person situated in this role will be a self-starter who shows initiative and is proactive in the workplace.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous PA/business support experience
- Minimum year 12 (or equivalent)
- Computer literacy
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Previous experience in healthcare (Desirable)
