Alfred Mental & Addiction Health is responsible for the operation of services, which focus on people with a severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.

Infant, Child and Youth Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYAMHWS)

Alfred ICYAMHWS is one component of the Department of Mental & Addiction Health at Alfred Health. We are a community-based service providing comprehensive assessment, treatment and case management to infants, children, adolescents and young people up to the age of 25 years of age presenting with behavioural, emotional, psychiatric or developmental difficulties. 

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will work in collaboration with all senior clinical disciplines and the workforce development team to ensure workforce issues are managed and supported through practice development, education and training tailored to the variable needs of disciplines and teams.

You will take a lead in program planning and provision of training that contributes to the professional and practice development of ICYAMHWS. You will also coordinate the planning and provision of training across the service. Experience and capability to plan, implement, facilitate and provide field mentoring is necessary to the role.

About you

  • Approved tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership of AHPRA or relevant professional registering body
  • Minimum of ten years’ post graduate clinical experience
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment - desirable
  • Australian working rights
  • Full Covid-19 vaccination (certificate to be uploaded with your application)
  • Current Victorian Driver's License
  • Current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a Background Check
