Alfred Health is the main provider of health services to people in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne and is also a major provider of specialist services to people across Victoria.  The Health Service operates three outstanding facilities: The Alfred, Caulfield and Sandringham.

The Dermatology Unit provides dermatology services within the tertiary setting of The Alfred. The scope covers the full range of Dermatology, with particular emphasis on transplant patients and patients with infectious diseases.  The unit specialises in SCAR Serious Cutaneous Adverse Reactions such as TEN Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis and SJS Stevens Johnson Syndrome due to the presence of Burns Unit at the Alfred.

Alfred Health is seeking to appoint a new Deputy Director Dermatology. This is a fractional position that will work closely with the Director of Dermatology, to manage and optimize clinical outcomes and performance through the application of quality systems and evidence-based practice. 

Applicants must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and hold Fellowship of The Australasian College of Dermatologists. They must also be able to demonstrate relevant contemporary knowledge and experience in Dermatology and meet Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Dermatology.
