Alfred Health is the main provider of health services to people in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne and is also a major provider of specialist services to people across Victoria.  The Health Service operates three outstanding facilities: The Alfred, Caulfield and Sandringham.

  • MBS Clinic

The Medical Oncology Unit provides a coordinated multidisciplinary comprehensive cancer service and major primary care facility for adult patients with malignancy, in conjunction with The Alfred Palliative Care Unit, as well as the Infectious Diseases Unit treating patients with HIV associated malignancies. This role requires a Medical Oncologist for one session a week to assume responsibility for clinical care of allocated patients and participate in setting the standards of high quality clinical practice within the Medical Oncology Unit.
Applications are invited for the position of Honorary Physician in Medical Oncology.
Applicants must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. Demonstrate relevant contemporary knowledge and experience in Medical Oncology and meets Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Medical Oncology. Experience in teaching and an involvement in research are desirable.
