Ward 4West B, Alfred Hospital
The Department
Ward 4 West B is a 32-bed acute general medical ward that cares for a range of diverse patient cohorts with both acute and chronic disease. It is a dynamic environment that receives patients from both the Emergency Department and ICU, as well inter-hospital transfers from other wards at our Caulfield and Sandringham campuses and other external healthcare providers. We value collaboration and interdisciplinary teamwork in order to provide the best possible care to our patients in a timely and efficient manner
The Role
Opportunities exist for an experienced ANM or aspiring registered nurse looking to develop their leadership and management skills in a dynamic and acute setting. We are seeking individuals with a passion for excellence in safe, patient centred care, motivated to continuously improve the way we work together as a team, and be a leader in role modelling and delivering timely patient care
Applicants will ideally have the following attributes;
Relevant recent acute experience, ideally within an acute general medical ward
Proven leadership ability
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic ward environment
Sense of interdisciplinary care and teamwork approaches to achieve patient outcomes
Current registration with AHPRA
