headspace Early Psychosis is one of the world’s most comprehensive youth early psychosis programs being delivered through one program in each Australian state. Through this new initiative, young people and their families have timely access to comprehensive evidence-based early psychosis services.
This program aims to intervene early with young people who have unusual sensory experiences and/or beliefs and their families and supporters. The service builds on strengths and resilience, uses the wisdom of lived experience and fosters hope, potential, and recovery.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will be providing administration duties to the friendly multidisciplinary team. The office operates a Monday to Friday outpatient clinic for young people and their families requiring mental health support.
You will efficiently manage information that is often sensitive and highly confidential, such as maintaining medical records, database and file management, and application of Microsoft office tools. You may also be asked to provide administrative support to our other headspace sites as required.
Bring along your positive, 'can-do' attitude and friendly, confidential customer service style to contribute to our team! This role will be integral to the overall functioning and delivery of mental health and well-being services to young people and their families and carers, and as such, requires a high performer who is consumer focused, motivated and enthusiastic.
You’ll have previous administration experience (preferably medical administration) with high attention to detail.
Before you become a part of our team, you'll also have to complete/provide a valid Victorian Working with Children Check, complete a background check, and also you'll require Australian working rights.
