As part of a values-driven organization, The Alfred’s Department of Psychiatry strives to provide care that is patient-centred and family-sensitive, in partnership with its community.  The program values its staff and its role in the training and education of specialist mental health clinicians.  The service comprises child, adolescent and adult mental health services, and a research centre managed in partnership with Monash University.

Alfred Health is looking to recruit a psychiatrist to continue their partnership with MacKillop Family Services, for 16 hours per week. 

Applicants must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a Fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Psychiatry is required as well as meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Psychiatry.
