Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated individual to join the non-clinical support services team as an orderly at Sandringham Hospital.
The position is responsible for patient transport and ancilliary duties throughout the hospital environment.
Applicants should have the ability to be flexible for hours, including night and afternoon shifts as well as weekend work.
This role requires good time management and organisational skills, as the main function is the provision to provide a safe environment for patients/residents, staff and visitors. Ability to follow directions is also desirable.
It is preferential that candidates have previosu experience in patient transport , have good communication skills, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of responsibility. Experience in patient transport and ward support roles within the health care industry would be well regarded.
Prerequisites
- Experience in patient transport
- Working with Children's Check
- Experience in site emergency evacuation procedures
