The Department

Home Acute and Community (HAC) is a clinical program across Bayside Health and largely based at Caulfield Hospital. The HAC program plays an integral role within Victoria’s health care system, supporting people to maximise their independence and functioning, and minimise long-term healthcare needs. HAC oversees a diverse group of services promoting effective seamless care, from acute care back into the community. These services are provided in hospital, community-based settings and in people’s homes.

The Role

Caulfield Community Health Service is seeking a highly motivated Allied Health Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team and provide support for our Healthy Living Program - gym and aquatic based physical activity programs for our local community. The successful candidate will have a strong client focus, experience in leading and faclitating exercise classes and a highly developed ability to organise their time and workload.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Relevant qualification (Allied Health Assistant, Exercise Science or similar)
  • Physical activity group leadership and facilitation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality person-centred care within a multidisciplinary health setting
