The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical practitioners for the role of Clinical Fellow in Occupational Respiratory Medicine.  

This role has the key responsibilities of co-ordinating a new clinical trial program for the Occupational Respiratory Clinic and assessment of silica exposed workers. The placement is designed to provide appropriate exposure and experience to enable the doctor to attain the required skills and knowledge for that term in that discipline. In addition, skills progression should assist the fellow to meet the requirements of specialist training programs. Learning objectives are described within the relevant specialist college training requirements and learning objective documents.
