Fixed-term contract: 12 months w/ opportunity to extend
Full-time position: 80 hours per fortnight w/ ADO
Classification: RN Grade 3B Research Nurse (Year 1/2)

Haematology Clinical Research Unit (CRU) The CRU is a large and dynamic trials unit implementing trials with promising technologies such as Car Tcell trials, immunotherapy (BiTE studies) and gene therapy. The Malignant Haematology and Stem Cell Transplantation Service and the Haemostasis / Thrombosis Unit and the Haemophilia Centre support haematology patients from the greater Melbourne area, and adult haemophilia patients from all of Victoria. The Clinical Research Unit oversees a large number of clinical trials for these diverse patient groups from Phase 1, firstin-humans to Phase 3 randomised, controlled trials, testing newly developed drugs straight from the biotech companies, to established drugs used in new regimens.
The responsibilities in this role involve working with patients and departments to deliver treatment according to trial protocols. Organisation is the key.
Qualifications and Experience
Relevant health-related tertiary qualification
Clinical trial experience
Experience in Haematology or Medical Oncology is highly desirable
Current Div 1 registration with the Nurses Board of Victoria / AHPRA
