The Child & Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) at Alfred Health is a community-based service offering comprehensive assessment and interventions with infants, children, adolescents and young people up to 26 years of age presenting with behavioural, emotional, psychiatric or developmental difficulties.
Established in 2006, headspace offers a ‘one stop shop’ for young people aged 12 -25 and their families who may be experiencing mental health difficulties. It provides an opportunity for young people to receive help early and promotes a 'no wrong door' approach to supporting young people and their families.
What you’ll be doing
As the Executive Assistant, you will support to the Manager and Director CYMHS and headspace Elsternwick and Bentleigh.
Key requirements of the role include: positive teamwork and key organisational relationships, diary management, scheduling meetings, assisting with accounts and contract approvals, presentations and supporting marketing initiatives.
The position supports leadership to deliver contemporary mental health and wellbeing services to young people and their families.
You are a high performer who is customer focused, motivated, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate initiative. There is a high level of autonomy required.
Do you have?
- Experience/knowledge of health systems;
- Experience with professional reports and presentations;
- Ability to work independently and take initiative;
- Ability to prioritise work and ensure timelines are on track;
- Interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with a diverse range of people;
- Knowledge of IT platforms.
