About us

Alfred Mental & Addiction Health is responsible for the operation of services, which focus on people with a severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne. The single most important goal of Alfred Mental & Addiction Health is to create an environment that facilitates clinical recovery, supports individual recovery efforts and strives to minimise service system barriers to the recovery process.

What you’ll be doing

In this role you will have a unique opportunity to transiton over a 12 month period from general to mental health nursing by particpating in a structured and supported program whilst working across several of the departments within AMAH to support consumers with a mental illness who are prescribed Clozapine within the Aged Psychiatry and Adult services and/ or managed through the Clozapine GP Shared programs.

About you

  • AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
  • Post graduate employment experience in general nursing Appropriate work visa
  • Current Victorian Driver's License
  • Current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a Background Check
