ABOUT US

CYMHS Access/ Brief Intervention

CYMHS access/ brief intervention team is a multi-disciplinary group of Child and Youth Mental Health clinicians, working at the Alfred Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS). Access/ brief intervention manages and co-ordinates all direct referrals to the service through a centralised access team to those in the Inner south catchment 0-25 years and the middle south catchment 0-18 years.

Child and Youth (CY) HOPE

CY HOPE is a program within CYMHS that supports children and young people at a risk of suicide. The program provides rapid and intensive form of support to the young person as well as their support networks through prevention and intervention.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Alfred CYMHS have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to lead and co-ordinate the  referrals coming into the service, and monitor workload, allocation, clinical team processes, client pathways, teamwork, stakeholder engagement, and other operational functions and management of resources required by the Team.

WHAT YOU’VE GOT

  • Approved tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline and eligibility for membership of AHPRA or the appropriate professional body
  • Extensive Skills and experience in assessment of children and young people
  • Advanced clinical leadership and demonstrated ability to lead development of efficient and effective systems
  • Appropriate work visa
  • Current Victorian Driver's License
  • Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain one and be willing to undergo a Background Check
