NAATI Certified Interpreter
Language Services is responsible for the provision of all internal and external interpreting services to patients from a culturally and linguistically diverse background and their families/significant others. Language Services at Alfred Health provide:
Interpreting and translating services for all patients and their representatives from Culturally & Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds in more than 150 languages, including AUSLAN
Professional development to staff on how to work effectively with interpreters
Resources to support culturally responsive patient-centred care for staff who utilise language service
An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic and experienced Russian (NAATI Certified Interpreter) to join our Language Services Department. To be successful in this role it is essential to be accredited by NAATI at CI level and meet the requirements for Certified Interpreter in the language above mentioned. You must be able to provide accurate, up to date medical interpreting services for patients and staff of Alfred Health.
