Based at St Kilda Road Clinic - Community Mental Health Services
Alfred Mental and Addiction Health is responsible for the operation of services which focus on people with a severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne. Services are provided by a number of teams located at the Alfred Hospital (Commercial Road, Prahran) and at St. Kilda Road Clinic, Melbourne, Alma Road CCU in St. Kilda and the Child & Adolescent Service located in Moorabbin. Alfred Mental and Addiction Health also works in partnership with relevant local non-government and social support agencieswork
The Senior Clinician (RPN4) will undertake a direct clinical role within the Community Mental Health Team, focussing on mental health service delivery for clients and their families/carers. The incumbent will demonstrate advanced clinical practice and leadership and will work to support other staff within the team through advice, consultation, and supervision. The Senior Nurses will work as an integral part of the leadership team of the CMHT, which includes the Nurse Manager, Senior Occupational Therapists, Senior Psychologists and Psychiatrists.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Specialist mental health and risk assessment and treatment skills
Advanced Nursing practice skills
A Current Victorian Drivers licence
Working with Children certificate essential
