The MSBase Foundation is an independent not-for-profit organisation that owns and operates the MSBase Registry - a unique international collaborative registry designed for clinicians working in the field of multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neuroimmunological diseases (NIDs). The MSBase Operations team of six support the daily operational, financial and IT activities of the business, led by a highly motivated and dedicated Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer who are also practising neurologists. The MSBase office is housed in the Monash Central Clinical School (CCS), located on level 6 of the Alfred Centre. The CCS is a centre for clinical and biomedical research and education and a core hub for translational research and medicine, covering a great breadth of subject areas.
This role supports members’ participation in the largest online, global registry dedicated to collecting data on patients with MS and other NIDs. The MSBase Operations team, based in Melbourne, are the driving force behind this highly successful not-for-profit organisation. We are looking for a part time Membership & Administrative Officer, 3 days a week, to lead the membership services of our global membership base, including reviewing and approving new requests, providing research support to members and administrative assistance to committees. You will be highly organised and efficient, with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise work tasks and work autonomously and as part of a team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is interested in developing our services and forms of engagement with members. Our neurologist members drive the research output of MSBase and your support will ensure its continued success.
- Bachelor’s degree qualification or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in an administrative role
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
