Do you enjoy the challenge of providing Alfred patients with the best service you can provide? The Neuroscience department is looking for a receptionist to be part of our small team providing Neurophysiology testing of both inpatients and outpatients from Alfred Health, and from external Doctors. The receptionist role covers a range of admin duties. Greeting patients, making appointments, sending reports and organising transport for patients, are just some of the roles that you will play in this dynamic position. In this key role, the rest of the team will support you.
To provide administrative support for the Department of Neurosciences and organise the departmental day-to-day activities. To be responsible for all administrative tasks relating to patient appointments, coordination, billing, medical records and test results.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Administrative experience in a busy medical environment is essential. Excellent computer literacy, keyboarding skills, organisational and communication skills are essential. Ability to work independently and organise own work schedule, as well as the Departments. Previous experience dealing with Medicare billing would be an advantage
