The Finance Department provides a wide range of financial and business services to all areas of Alfred Health. Finance services include financial and management accounting, financial compliance, financial analysis & decision support, data management, organisational reporting, clinical costing, support for financial information systems and transactional services (including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Medical Billing).
This position will report to the Manager, Knowledge Management and will provide the technical and data support to maintain the data integrity of data warehouse platform. This will include but not limited to design and extract data for different purposes including data registries, research and other business and ad hoc purposes. The position will be responsible for delivering a customer centric approach to system support and providing technical direction and oversight on the use of technology to improve the data quality and integrity.
Proactively monitor and maintain the data warehouse environment (SQL Server 2016) and resolve all data issues within the database and analysis services
Implement the cloud migration of the data warehouse to Microsoft Cloud environments
Organise data feeds from a variety of sources, with automated processes to extract and ingest data into our data warehouse environment
Design and develop business objects from the raw data from different platforms and add the data sources to the reporting portal
Design and develop tables, stored procedures, views and functions as needed for the registry and data submissions
Create data models from the raw data in the staging to Semantic layer
TSQL programming and development using MS-SQL 2014 and up, Oracle and CCL
Create and implement APIs that link different systems to the data warehouse including Redcap systems
Troubleshooting and developing Redcap projects and problem solving of TSQL queries and create ETL packages to cater for different data requests
Design and develop successful database applications and data analytics reports as per the business needs including Redcap
Perform quality checks on reports and exports to ensure exceptional data quality
Investigate latest technology and algorithms to improve the analytical reporting of the clinical data
Performs ad-hoc statistical analysis and data mining analyses and present in a way to support business decisions
Technical documentations of all the tasks and applications developed during the employment
