The Department

Alfred Health is the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne and a major provider of specialist state-wide services to the people of Victoria.

Position Summary 

We are seeking enthusiastic Division 1 Registered Nurses who are looking for the opportunity to work across a wide range of general and specialty areas. These include; Vaccine Clinic, oncology, trauma, infectious diseases, respiratory, renal, neurology, emergency, cardiology, cardiothoracic, neurosurgery and burns. Flexibility and availability for shifts across wards will be highly valued.

To succeed in this role you will be a high performing nurse who has previously demonstrated:

  • Motivation and enjoys the challenge of working in a team environment

  • A strong understanding and background of Patient-Centred care

  • The ability to maintain a high level of communication with patients, staff and visitors.

  • Completion of a post graduate year and significant recent experience in acute nursing.

Skills and Qualifications Required

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
