Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory, to inpatient and home and community based services.
Full-Time - 80 hours per fortnight with ADO

Alfred Mental and Addiction Health (AMAH) is responsible for the operation of services which focus on people with a severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.
Services are provided by a number of teams located at the Alfred Hospital (Commercial Road, Prahran) and at St. Kilda Road Clinic, Alma Road CCU in St. Kilda, the Child & Adolescent Service located in Moorabbin and Headspace service in various locations in Victoria. AMAH also works in partnership with relevant local non-government and social support agencies.
This position has been established as a time limited role to support Alfred Mental and Addiction Health prepare for significant changes. We will be implementing recommendations from the Royal Commission and preparing for activity-based funding. Access to timely, meaningful information will be integral to service planning, securing appropriate funding and providing the best possible care to our consumers.
The BI Developer / Analyst will work with the AMAH Quality and Service Planning teams to set up a sustainable reporting framework to provide leadership and clinical teams with access to timely and accurate date to inform service improvement and planning.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
IT/Analytics related degree
Experience with database development, maintenance and administration using Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL
Data analysis, design and development of data integration and reporting services using Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
Application Development, Maintenance, Testing and Support using above technology stack.
Health sector / mental health experience desirable
