  • Podiatrist - Grade 2
  • $83361 - $95825
  • Full Time fixed term contract until 30th June 2022
  • Based on site at Caulfield Hospital, only 15 mins south-east of the city

Department

The Caulfield Community Health Service (CCHS) provides a range of clinical and health promotion services for people of all ages who live, work or study within the local community. These multi-disciplinary services are provided at home, in the community or centre, or via telehealth. CCHS operates from the Caulfield Hospital site.  

 

You will be an enthusiastic and experienced Podiatrist with at least 4 years clinical experience who will:

  • Provide comprehensive assessment and goal driven interventions to a diverse clientele, including complex wounds
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members in case discussions and care planning
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to Allied Health Assistants and Podiatry students
  • Liaise with relevant agencies to coordinate, facilitate and communicate client treatment and outcomes
  • Plan and manage own workload to ensure adequate time for the achievement of primary objectives of the position

Skills/experience

  • Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated podiatry clinical experience relevant to the community health sector
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in chronic wound management
  • Demonstrated commitment to holistic client care and the principles of self-management
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence
