Respiratory Medicine has a unique and comprehensive spectrum of expertise in Australia across clinical and basic allergy and advanced adult lung diseases, including severe asthma, emphysema, interstitial lung diseases, sleep apnoea, cystic fibrosis (CF; State Centre of Excellence) and lung transplantation. It comprises of four Clinical Services, supported by the Bronchoscopy Service and the Physiology Service (including the Lung Function Laboratory).
This role provides an exciting opportunity for a person with proven experience and skills in health data management, data analysis, audit, and report writing to assist The Alfred’s Lung Transplant Service in maintaining world-leading patient care and outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience working within a hospital/medical practice or similar environment, and knowledge of medical terminology
Demonstrated excellent organisational and investigative skills.
Demonstrated experience in data management with a high level of attention to detail.
Demonstrated strong general computing skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and other data management programs, plus experience in production of reports and presentations.
Proven excellent written and oral communication skills.
Undergraduate qualification in Health Management/ Science/ IT
Statistical analysis skills and experience would be an advantage
