An excellent opportunity exists for a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the enthusiasm and motivation to further develop their career within a large public hospital. Join a dedicated team of technologists providing nuclear medicine patient services as part of Alfred Health, the main provider of health services to inner southeast Melbourne and provider of specialist services across Victoria. You will be required to Perform diagnostic (in-vitro and in-vivo) and therapeutic nuclear medicine patient procedures using unsealed sources of radioactivity.
The Department of Nuclear Medicine & PET offers a full range of diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures and is equipped with state-of-the-art PET, general SPECT/CT, cardiac imaging technology and a comprehensive radio pharmacy laboratory.
The department is committed to training, education and research activities and provides a year round CPD program for technologists.

Registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and a Radiation Use Licence issued by the Department of Health are required for this position.
