The Medical Oncology Unit provides a coordinated multidisciplinary comprehensive cancer service and major full-service care capability for adult patients with malignancy, in conjunction with The Alfred’s Radiation Oncology and Palliative Care Services, as well as a wide variety of other sub-specialities.
This role requires a Medical Oncologist to assume responsibility for clinical care of allocated patients and participate in setting the standards of high-quality clinical practice within the Medical Oncology Unit. Preferred candidates will have a strong background in clinical trials and a demonstrable commitment to academic career development.
Appointees must be legally qualified practitioners and FRACP in medical oncology or equivalent.
