General and Acute Care Advanced Physician Training Program- 2 August 2021- 6 February 2022
We invite applicants for the six month position of Registrar General Medicine - 2021. The training program at The Alfred is a dynamic well supported program with a well supervised, clinical experience and education focus. This program provides experience in the care of patients with multi-system diseases, peri-operative experience in Surgery and Trauma Medicine, MET call experience, inpatient care, including acute care and undifferentiated patient management experience, afterhours clinical leadership experience and complex ambulatory care experience, under the supervision of senior clinicians many with sub-specialty interests.
The panel will consider applications from existing APTs, provisional APTs and BPTs who have completed their 36 months of training by August 2021 and successfully passed the RACP Written examination.
Rotations are designed to meet the RACP PREP Advanced Training curriculum in General and Acute Care Medicine.
