Food Services Assistant
Permanent Part-Time Position 45 hours per fortnight
Based at Caulfield Hospital
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic people to join our Food Services team as a FSA
Support Services provides the core Support Services of Non-ward Cleaning, Gardens and Grounds, Distribution, Security, Ward Support, Food Services, and Car Parking. The position of FSA is a key operational role within the Support Services and Food Services team.
About the FSA role
In this role you will be required to plate meals, prepare meal items such as mid meal snacks, sandwiches and desserts, wash dishes and complete other cleaning tasks.
You will have a background of experience in Food Services within Health & Aged Care Facilities or equivalent. A high level of flexibility and motivation to achieve set standards is required. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to work both in a team environment and autonomously and possess good time management skills. You must be able to contribute to Occupational Health and Safety. The understanding and practicing of infection control & and food safety principles is essential.
