The Department (Hotel Support Services)
Alfred Health has been engaged to provide clinical care within the Department of Justice and Community Safety’s COVID-19 Accommodation response (the Program), for returned international travellers and/or community members (residents). Alfred Health provides clinical support and management for all people residing in the Program’s clinical setting, but does not provide services to quarantine hotel settings.
As the Clinical Manager (HSS), you will provide both clinical and non-clinical operational oversight for the hotels within the Program. You will be a member of the HSS Operations Leadership team and assist the Director of Operations (COVID-19) to help develop and sustain the best workforce, as well as be responsible for clinical outcomes and management of staff.
You will ensure excellent guest health monitoring and infection prevention practice and promotes the development of the team, ensuring the philosophy of nursing and standards of practice are consistently reflected in professional practice and service to guests.
Previous experience in managing teams
Registered Nurse/Allied Health – other health professionals may be considered
Understanding and experience in risk management and quality assurance systems
Ability to develop and report on performance/training and outcomes
Relevant recent experience or evidence of an interest in Infection Prevention required
