This is an incredible opportunity to join a fantastic team in a brand new, refurbished Emergency Department. We treat patients who are suffering from serious illness or injury that could lead to severe complications if medical treatment is not received quickly. We strive to ensure all patients receive timely, high-quality care and receive prompt, upfront assessment by the most senior doctor available to minimise the time spent waiting.
As a clinical nurse your practice will lead to excellence in patient care. You understand the importance of establishing a relationship between the patient and yourself in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for your patients. You demonstrate the core nursing values of patient centred care, trust and respect in every interaction with patients, carers and colleagues. As nurse you are accountable for establishing and evaluating the patient’s plan of care in partnership with the patient, their carers and other members of the health care team. You are supported in your role as a clinical nurse by all other nursing positions.
Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hold an appropriate visa with working rights

We offer a comprehensive orientation program and regular in - house education programs. The department has Clinical Educators available 7 days a week as well as Clinical Support & Development Nurses to support staff in their development.
