Be part of Alfred Health’s dynamic nursing team who are stepping up to the delivery of exceptional care to our community as part of Victoria’s hotel quarantine program. We are seeking motivated RNs to join our Hotel Support Services (HSS) team with Alfred Health on a full-time basis.

  • Open to applications from Registered Nurses (Grade 2)
  • Full-time (80 hours with an ADO) package available until end of June 2022, with possibility to extend

In Victoria, Alfred Health has been engaged to provide clinical care within the Victorian Government’s hotel quarantine program (the Program) for returned international travellers and/or community members. Alfred Health provides clinical support and management for all people residing in the Program’s clinical setting.


The role of the Infection Prevention Lead works to support the implementation and upkeep of the relevant policies, guidelines and procedures in place within the Program hotels to support the infection control measures. This role is focused on providing high standards of training and auditing to ensure compliance and acting as a clinical resource where required. 

  • Previous experience in managing teams
  • Registration with the AHPRA with tertiary qualifications in nursing and postgraduate studies in infection prevention (highly desirable) equivalent as a minimum
  • Understanding and experience in risk management and quality assurance systems
  • Ability to develop and report on performance/training and outcomes
  • Understanding of Infection Prevention principles required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Capacity to work in and manage high-stress situations
