THE ROLE
This position provides excellent opportunity to develop your assessment, risk management and decision making skills in a variety of areas of mental health including triage, crisis assessment work and case management.
Our clients present with a range of complex psychosocial and medical problems, requiring a creative and innovative approach to case management whilst still applying principles of evidence based practise. Our team comprises of medical staff, nursing, social work, occupational therapist and psychology, providing the opportunity for discipline specific intervention.
We have very manageable caseloads which is Alfred Health’s best kept secret.
Experience with older adults is desirable but not essential as MAPS has an extensive and well supported education program, committed to up skilling staff in all areas of our work.
THE TEAM
This is an opportunity to work as part of a small, friendly, supportive team with a great sense of humour and dedication.
We are based at Caulfield Hospital with ample parking at a reasonable rate. We have onsite gym and café facilities. Caulfield Hospital is conveniently located close to many major transport routes.
