The MRG within the Division of Blood Cancers, Australian Centre for Blood Diseases is a combined translational and clinical research team focusing on the identification and characterisation of novel therapeutic agents for multiple myeloma (MM).
The Research Assistant will be responsible for setting up equipment and experiments, analysis and data collection for a range of experiments related to cell biology and molecular biology. This position will also be responsible for a wide range of administrative support functions in the laboratory such as maintenance of information systems, databases, lab supplies and departmental equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Science qualification or a related discipline from a recognised university area is desirable
Previous laboratory experience and/or education/training is essential
Knowledge in practical animal handling would be advantageous
Computer capable – Familiar with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Salary will commensurate with experience
