THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and skilled Allied Health Assistant with an interest in Mental Health to provide high-quality support of patients on the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit. In this role you will work within a strong multidisciplinary team assisting the OT team in carrying out one to one intervention with patients in addition to the organization and facilitation of the inpatient group program and support discharge planning.
The successful candidate will bring a collaborative, flexible, and patient centered approach to the role and shape Inpatient program activity over weekends
The overall objective of the position is to provide therapy support services to individuals and groups as directed by the Allied Health Professional/s with which you are working.
