Department
Our Emergency Department offers education and training events on relevant topics to health professionals globally. We have an education support team who enable our clinicians to share their knowledge and experience by providing exceptional event and administrative support and the use of innovative and engaging technologies.
Role
Take end-to-end responsibility for planning and delivering small and large scale virtual and in-person educational events.
Take end-to-end responsibility for planning, developing, and producing (including advanced editing) audiovisual content.
General administration including finance, HR, IT, resources, and other tasks including drafting correspondence and serving as Committee Secretariat for committees relevant to education events.
Skills & experience
We're looking for an experienced education event coordinator with the following skills and experience:
Autonomous coordination of live virtual event production including technical set-up and operation using webinar software and AV technologies.
Advanced proficiency with video and audio editing platforms including PremierePro.
Great communication and stakeholder management skills.
Highly developed computer literacy, including the ability to learn and adopt new software packages as required.
Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail and organisational skills.
Other requirements
Some Victorian travel may be required. It would be highly beneficial for applicants to have a drivers licence and access to car.
The role will involve a blend of on and off campus working arrangements.
Qualifications & experience
A minimum of five years of relevant experience.
A qualification in a relevant field or evidence of a strong commitment to continuing professional development (to be justified via the written application process).
Experience in health or education/training administration is not essential but highly regarded.
