  • Full time - 80 hours per fortnight plus ADO
  • 12 month appointment
  • Based at The Alfred Hospital

The Department

Become a part of the Alfred Health Office of Ethics & Research Governance as the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework Pilot Project Lead providing assistance to the Senior Manager, Office of Ethics & Research Governance and the Alfred Health National Clinical Trials Governance Framework Pilot Steering Committee, in the co-ordination and implementation of the National Standards framework as part of the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework Pilot.

The Role

In this role, you will be required to provide expert advice on health service standards and  ensure requirements are integrated into the day to day clinical trial operations; provide technical advice on the requirement of health service standards and maintenance of evidence; develop the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework pilot implementation project plan and ensure progress of  key milestones are  monitored and reported; undertake a gap analysis using the web-based self-assessment tool; and establish sustainable quality systems that ensure the governance framework is embedded into practice.


An ability to provide high-level and informed advice regarding state and national accreditation requirements; experience in the implementation of effective quality systems in complex organisations and; a demonstrated ability to manage complex and major projects to achieve outcomes of an exceptionally high standard are essential capabilities for this role.
